Sprouted Horse gram Thoran Recipe is made without any onion and garlic making it a healthy sattvik recipe. Made with sprouted horse gram and cooked in a coconut, ginger and green chillies mixture it tastes amazingly good.

Horse gram or Kulthi dal is not widely eaten as other dals but according to ayurveda this dal is highly beneficial. Ancient scholars of ayurveda have recommended the consumption of horse gram when you have fever, coughs and cold, bronchial problems and asthma too. High in fiber and other nutrients including this dal in your diet  will surely help you. 

Serve Sprouted Horse gram Thoran along with a Kerala Avial, Rasam, Rice and Homemade Yogurt for a nice sattvik meal.
