Turkey Meatballs

Ingredients:

For Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp of water
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • ¼ tsp of ginger powder
  • ¼ tsp of coriander
  • Black pepper, to taste

For Meatball:

  • 350 g minced turkey
  • 4 spring onions, finely sliced
  • 1 egg, whisked
  • ½ tbsp of sesame oil
  • ½ tbsp of soy sauce
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Sunflower oil
  • Sesame seed, to serve
  • Spring onion, to serve

*for 2 servings 

Instructions: 

  1. Cook all the ingredients for the sauce in a saucepan for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. Take all the ingredients for the meatballs in a mixing bowl, knead until all the ingredients are well mixed.
  3. Grease a 6-well muffin tin and divide the mixture evenly into the wells. Bake in a preheated 190⁰C oven for 30 minutes.
  4. Take it out of the oven and pour the sauce on it and cook it for another 20 minutes.
  5. Serve hot with spring onion and sesame seeds.
