Easy Sausage Spinach Bake

This easy sausage spinach bake makes the perfect weeknight dinner. It’s also a great dish to take to a potluck. It’s full of so many delicious ingredients. Sausage, spinach, seasonings, alfredo sauce, cheese…it has it all! You can add our garlic cheese biscuits, and you’ll have a fabulous dinner.

Easy Sausage Spinach Bake Ingredients Needed:

Breakfast pork sausage

Diced onion

Minced garlic

Can of mushrooms, drained

Dried oregano

Dried basil

Black pepper

Frozen chopped spinach, thawed and pressed dry

Alfredo sauce

Sour cream

Egg noodles

Shredded Mozzarella cheese

Recipe Notes: We love this dish with egg noodles, but feel free to use any noodles you like. Also, you could add different cheeses, too.

  • 1 lb breakfast pork sausage
  • 1/2 cup of diced onion
  • 1 teaspoon of minced garlic
  • 1 4 ounces can mushrooms drained
  • 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon of dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 12 ounces pkg of frozen chopped spinach thawed and pressed dry
  • 1 15 ounces jar of your favorite Alfredo sauce
  • 1/3 cup of sour cream
  • 12 ounces of egg noodles
  • 2-3 cups of shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • Preheat oven to 350. Cook noodles according to package and drain. Cook sausage, garlic, and onion over medium heat until cooked through. Drain. Add mushrooms, oregano, basil, and pepper and stir through.

  • Next, add in spinach. In a big mixing bowl, combine sausage mixture and noodles. Add in sour cream and Alfredo sauce and stir. Add in half of the shredded cheese and mix through.

  • Pour into a greased 9X13 dish, cover, and bake for 10-15 minutes. Take out of the oven, remove the cover and sprinkle with the remainder of the cheese. Broil for 1-2 minutes until cheese is melted. Serves 8. Enjoy!
