Easy Ranch Taco Pie The Southern Lady Cooks

This easy ranch taco pie makes the PERFECT weeknight dinner. It’s full of flavor and takes very little effort to prepare. My family loves this dish, and I never mind making it. Plus, it’s just so versatile. You can make this recipe exactly how your family enjoys it!

Ranch Taco Pie Ingredients Needed:

Tortilla Chips

Ground beef

Rotel Diced Tomatoes and Green Chilies

Pinto Beans

Packet of Ranch Dressing Seasoning Mix

Packet of Taco Seasoning Mix

Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Optional Toppings:

Shredded Lettuce

Fresh tomato

Sour Cream

Guacamole

Ranch Dressing

Recipe Notes: this dish is very versatile! You can easily make it with ground turkey or even ground chicken. You can add black beans instead of pinto. Feel free to add any type of shredded cheese. You could easily add black olives, onions, salsa, etc. Feel free to make it exactly how your family will enjoy it.

Easy Ranch Taco Pie

This simple but DELICIOUS ranch taco pie makes the perfect weeknight dinner.

  • 2 1/2 cups of crushed tortilla chips
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 (10 ounce) can of Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilis drained
  • 1 (15.5 ounce) can of pinto beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 ounce packet of Ranch dressing seasoning
  • 1 ounce packet of taco seasoning
  • 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese

Optional Toppings

  • shredded lettuce
  • diced fresh tomatoes
  • sour cream
  • guacamole
  • Preheat oven to 375.

  • Brown ground turkey over medium heat until cooked through. Drain off any grease. Add in both seasoning packets, Rotel tomatoes and pinto beans. Mix together and let simmer for 5-7 minutes.

  • Place crushed tortilla chips in a 9 inch deep dish pie pan. Spoon meat mixture over chips. Cover with shredded cheese. Bake for 8-10 minutes until the cheese is completely melted. Take out of the oven and let cool for 2-3 minutes. Top with shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes. I drizzle ranch dressing over the top. Serve with sour cream and guacamole.
