Dill Pickle Chicken Salad - The Southern Lady Cooks

This Dill Pickle Chicken Salad is super easy to make and loaded in flavor. When the summer months roll around it’s so nice to have quick and easy dishes made up and ready to eat. This chicken salad is great on crackers, or a bed of lettuce or stuffed in a ripe summer tomato!

Dill Pickle Chicken Salad Ingredients Needed:

Chicken, cooked and shredded

Red onion

Mayonnaise

Pickles and pickle juice

Garlic Powder

Fresh Dill

Such simple ingredients but loaded in flavor. You could always use Greek yogurt in place of the mayonnaise for a lighter version of this salad. Sometimes I mix half mayonnaise and half Greek yogurt and you can’t really tell the difference. I recently made this salad for a wedding shower and served it on slider buns and it was a huge hit. Simple but delicious!

We are always asked what type of mayonnaise we use and the answer is Duke’s Mayonnaise! It’s our favorite and yes, you can use miracle whip in the place of the mayonnaise.

If you enjoy simple salads, you will also love this Ham Salad. It is a wonderful way to use up any leftover ham and has fantastic reviews. Of course you can never go wrong with our Amish Pasta Salad. It has had millions of views over the years!
