The taste of fall is finally here, and we are all about it. There is nothing more satisfying than going out to eat or grocery shopping, only to find our favorite pumpkin flavor everywhere we turn. It is something we look forward to every year, but there’s nothing we look forward to more than a pumpkin spice frappe. It is a delicious dessert beverage filled with all of those amazing pumpkin spices that we just can’t get enough of.

Ingredient Notes

  • Milk: Whether you’re team whole milk, 2%, or dairy-free, this recipe works with whatever you have in the fridge. Almond, oat, soy—it’s all good here.
  • Espresso: Get your caffeine fix with a shot (or two) of espresso, or keep things chill with brewed coffee. Not feeling the buzz? Skip it altogether for a caffeine-free pumpkin treat.
  • Pumpkin Puree: Be sure to grab pure pumpkin puree, not pumpkin pie filling, unless you want a surprise dose of sugar and spices!
  • Sweetened Condensed Milk: This creamy sweetness is what dreams are made of. Did you know they even sell it in a squeeze bottle?
  • Vanilla: Gives your frappe that extra cozy vibe.
  • Spices (Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Ginger): They’re what make your frappe taste like fall in a cup.
  • Ice Cubes: The more ice, the thicker and frostier your drink will be. If you like it super slushy, don’t hold back on the ice.
  • Whipped Cream: Totally optional, but highly recommended. A dollop of whipped cream is fun to pile it high and sprinkle on extra spices or add a drizzle of caramel.

Coffee-less Frappe

No coffee? No problem! A frappe is just a fancy name for a frosty blended drink, so coffee isn’t a must. Storage Instructions

Frappes are best enjoyed fresh, so sadly, they don’t store well. Since they’re part frozen, the ice melts pretty fast, and you’ll end up with a pumpkin spice drink instead of a frappe. If you’ve got leftovers, you can pop them in the fridge, but just know it’ll turn into more of a liquid treat!
