Easy Pepperoni Pizza Rolls in a cast iron skillet

These easy pepperoni pizza rolls are a good idea anytime! You can serve them as an easy appetizer, or for lunch or dinner. They are with just a few simple ingredients so they come together very quickly.

Easy Pepperoni Pizza Rolls Ingredients Needed:

Refrigerated Pillsbury Pizza Crust

Pizza sauce

Italian Blend Cheese, shredded

Garlic powder

Pepperoni, quartered

Butter, melted

Recipe Notes: Feel free to add any spices that your family enjoys (oregano, Italian seasoning, pepper, salt). Cheddar cheese is also fabulous on these little treats. I’ve used both cheddar and Italian at times. Parmesan is wonderful, too!  I bake these pepperoni pizza rolls in a cast iron skillet but you could easily use a 9 or 10-inch pie plate. My husband likes to dip them in our homemade ranch dressing.

If you like this recipe, you may want to try our pizza pasta skillet. It’s always a hit when I serve it.

  • 1/2 cup of pizza sauce
  • 3/4 cup of Italian Blend Cheese shredded
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • Pepperoni quartered
  • 2 tablespoons of butter melted
  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Roll out pizza dough into a rectangle and cover in pizza sauce, about 1/2 inch from the edge. Sprinkle with garlic powder, cheese and top with pepperoni.

  • Starting with the longest side of the rectangle roll into a long cylinder. Cut into 8 equal pieces and place cut side down in a greased 9 or 10 inch cast iron skillet.

  • Bake for 20 minutes, remove and brush tops with melted butter. Add more cheese if you desire and bake for 2-3 more minutes.

Feel free to add any spices that your family enjoys (oregano, Italian seasoning, pepper, salt). Cheddar cheese is also fabulous on these little treats. I’ve used both cheddar and Italian at times. Parmesan is wonderful, too!
You can easily use an 8X8 pan or a 9-inch pie plate. This recipe could easily be doubled. Any leftovers should be refrigerated.

The Perfect Egg Salad Sandwich

I have strong opinions about egg salad sandwiches. Usually I take a pass. Like, if I see one on a menu, or at a deli, I choose another sandwich. Egg salad tends to be so gloppy, or too much mayo, soggy bread (yuck), or the trifecta of all three. But it doesn’t...
