Garlic Cheese Grits The Southern Lady Cooks

Garlic Cheese Grits is a dish that we’ve been making for years and years. Mom serves them every year for Thanksgiving. I think Anne and I would revolt if they weren’t on the table. It has been a tradition since we were little. If you like grits, you’re gonna love these!

Garlic Cheese Grits Ingredients Needed:

Uncooked instant grits or regular grits

Butter

Velveeta cheese or cheddar cheese (You can use just about any kind of cheese you like)

Garlic powder (can use less if you are not a fan of garlic)

Eggs

Milk

Small cheese crackers

Recipe Notes: This dish reheats great. You can add more or less garlic, depending on what your family likes. This dish is wonderful for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a holiday meal.
