Honey Oat Bread Simple Ingredients:

Whole wheat flour

All-purpose flour

Salt

Baking powder

Old fashioned rolled oats

Honey

Buttermilk

Egg

Cooking oil

Delicious ingredients that many of you will have on hand which makes this bread perfect. Nothing worse than having to run to the store for something you have never heard of, this bread is super simple and so good. We also love it with our super easy cinnamon honey butter!

If you only want honey butter you can make up this easy recipe for honey butter spread:

1 stick butter or 1/2 cup
1/3 cup honey

Microwave butter about 12 seconds to soften the butter.  Add the honey and beat with electric mixer about a minute until smooth. Keep in the refrigerator. Great on biscuits, bread, pancakes, etc.

Recipe Feedback:

“I thought this recipe sounded so good, especially when you mentioned using molasses…I made it today subbing the molasses in place of the honey and adding 1/4 c sugar…oh my goodness! It is delicious! Thanks for the recipe!” – Shelia

“Wow I can’t believe how healthy this recipe is, and it’s delicious. I added 2 tsp cinnamon and made 3 mini loaves—took 30 minutes. Careful not to overfill your pans; these babies rise high due to 1 tbsp of baking powder. Eating it warm or toasted is a must, IMO. I think it’s best served warm with butter and/or honey on top. Just a drizzle of honey and butter will probably work and make it a real treat! I’ll have to keep in mind using molasses instead of honey idea. That sounds great, too! Your recipes are so simple yet reflect a lot of love.” – Anu

The Perfect Egg Salad Sandwich

I have strong opinions about egg salad sandwiches. Usually I take a pass. Like, if I see one on a menu, or at a deli, I choose another sandwich. Egg salad tends to be so gloppy, or too much mayo, soggy bread (yuck), or the trifecta of all three. But it doesn’t...
